Anyone get gut trouble on depakote?
3 days now, feel really stable (and happy).
I feel good....I knew that I would.......

guts are churning though....maybe its coincidence.

I was on depakote for about 3 years and I gained ove 100 pounds and I was not eatting any more or less.

othewise it worked good until it cosed my live to start bleeding.

So the pdoc put me on LI and kolmikin and I lost 45 pounds and my moods are stable enghough that I can work on my social axitity disorder.

Just me two cents on that depakoke

I am hoping that the runs and weight gain are mutually exclusive !

THat wait gain was mosty after the pdoc rasied me over 5 450mg tabs a day which was too much.

So you might gain a little if your doc watchs you wieght and you of course.

As for the runs you may need to try some else or maybe somthing that might help the shits.

I used imdoum and it help a little with the runs

I would suggest getting with the doc and telling to check you dekote levels to see if your on the high side. because that can couse the runs

ben, did you gain weight while shitting 30 times a day?

I haven't had any trouble with Depakote at all, but I am only taking 500mg a day. I gained a little weight (10 lbs), but it has been great for stablization.

but 100lbs weight gain ! That is whale like !
