I'm assuming this is IBS related. They can't find anything else. Anyway, it woke me up in the middle of the night, stabbing pain all over pretty much, no other symptoms. I'm wondering if it's IBS related, I haven't had it in a while but I wonder if it's something else too. Why would it just pop up out of the blue and hurt so bad? I have been keeping a list of what I eat and I can see it could be some foods, but with not other symptoms? Can you take something for it?

I think you could have experienced a flare-up. The last three weeks have been bad for me and I woke up like I swallowed a glass full of needles. This has not occurred for a while, but I had a significant change in diet and I think it has to do with that. if it comes back again then I would start watching the foods you have eaten. You may have just a one-time combination that generated the problem. Just be positive.
