i've heard many places about garlic's antiviral and immune-stimulating properties, and read about garlic oil as a very potent treatment for herpes! it is also an ingredient in some herbal treatments for hpv warts. i was wondering if anyone has tried applying garlic oil routinely to genital warts, and if so, did you have any luck with it? (by garlic oil, i mean chopped fresh garlic submerged in olive oil and allowed to sit and release its essence into the oil)

please share your experiences if you have any!

garlic oil stopped me getting any STDs - I've used it for years so it definetely works! rub some on your penis and also take plenty of garlic in your diet/supplements. it keeps all sorts of infectious diseases at bay too!!!

i don't have a penis, but i'm rubbing it on what i got, lol. it does seem to be helping, actually! it's not an overnight miracle cure, but i think things are starting to clear up.
thanks for the reply.

Interesting......I'm going to try this. Hope I can de-scent myself when I'm done treating myself, lol:)

solstice- let us know how it works for you, k?

i'm still at it, and i think the longer the garlic steeps in the oil, the more potent it gets (and smellier, lol), but it seems to be making it more effective too.

i got the nasty flu last night, so my immune system will need a few days to bounce back from that, but i'm still hopeful about this.

I'll definitely let you know:) Does it have to be olive oil? Can it be like canola oil or should I go out and buy the olive oil?

i just used olive oil, because i've heard that olive leaf extract, and other olive-y stuff has immune stimulating properties, too. (also, the success stories i read for this treatment for people w/ herpes used olive oil...) i didn't use much at all, though. just enough to gently submerge the garlic. i figured the higher the concentration of garlic the better.

Thanks;) One more quick question- Do you chop it up and soak it and then strain it? Or do you put the whole cloves in the oil? Also, how long do you normally let it "steep" in the oil for?

i just chopped up about 5 or 6 cloves of garlic and put them in a container, then added maybe a tablespoon or so of the oil, and covered it and put it in the fridge. they actually sell the stuff in grocery stores (as a food item, lol), and it has a long shelf life, so i'm just going to let it sit and work of that stash for a week or two, then make up a fresh batch. no straining involved. also, i'm trying to reapply it throughout the day.
