Seems I am getting worse by the minute. I have bad drainage now with burning from nose to goozle. I have had allergy so bad, I cannot function for the last 2 weeks and it's getting worse. Pollen report has gone from a 2 on a 12 scale to over 7 in about 10 days.

Is anyone esle experiencing this ?

Thanks,

I am experiencing this also. In NY, the pollen is a 9.1 on a scale of 12 today. I am miserable. Even people without pollen allergies are suffering. Short of getting allergy shots for the pollen, or maybe taking a mild decongestant when it gets really bad, there is really not much else I can think of that you can do. The only other advice I can give you is to maybe use an otc saline nasal spray to clean out your nostrils, or maybe try using something called Nasalcrom, which is supposed to be a non-addictive (not sure about that though) allergy nasal spray that is good for seasonal allergy sufferers. It takes a few weeks of daily use to really work though, and for the best results you are supposed to use it before the allergy season evern starts, as a preventative measure. Although you can still use it in the middle of the allergy season and it should help. Also, STAY INSIDE on the days when the pollen is high, with the windows shut and the a/c on!

Sorry I couldn't offer any more advice. :)

I have been very bad because of the mold count where i live. It seems to be high about every day. Once in awhile I get lucky and have a good day, but these are few and far between.

I've been taking in 9 glasses of water daily and 1/2 teas. a day of a mineral sea/salt, I've been doing this all summer, and my allergies haven't come back at all this fall. I used to have them pretty bad. Warning though, if you have high blood pressure or heart disease there are precautions to take before starting.

Saline is salt and water, but it's a mineral salt, not table salt, that would burn. Diana
