I suffer from non allergic rhinitis (or so i was told from a allergist prof.) and I am wondering what other people do to relieve their stuffy nose and dry mouth? I just started to suffer from dry mouth about two years ago, back when i was younger all i would get is a congested nose, but it wouldn't be accompanied by dry mouth as it is recently for the past two years. Is this normal, or am i just getting older (21 years of age). I am very dependent on water and drink more than 8 glasses of water a day and it really frustrates me and is a major inconvenience having to carry a bottle of water everywehre I go just because of my dry mouth and fear of being thirsty constantly. I also get post nasal drip but that seems to be during the month of spring only, now that sumemr is pretty much over and fall is starting all i have is a somewhat congested nose (not as bad as it would be duirng spring/summer) and i still ahve the annoying dry mouth. Another strange thing is that in the past there were a few years where i wouldn't even suffer from antyhing would this also be why i have non allergic rhinitis. Anyone know of anythign that would help? I've tried flonase which seems to help somewhat for my congestion, but it leaves me with even more severe dry mouth, so I end up not wanting to take it even with the benfits of soem relief of my congestion.
