Does anyone know of a natural solution for severe allergies. I have prescriptions, but I'm still just plain miserable. All I want to do is sleep. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Cat

I am miserable too, and get sick of taking meds. The only thing that helps me is to turn the air on, even if I don't need it, set the temp. around 72 or so, and shut the windows. I have been miserable all summer. In the environmental illness board, a mother posted a reply to me about her son, and he is now being treated with something I have not heard of, and it seems to be working. I asked her about this and am waiting for a reply. He has many allergies also. You may want to go and read the message from her. It is about the 13th reply to my question.

catgirl-

Ask your doctor about trying budesonide. It's a nasal spray, and it is the ONLY thing that works for me. I have dozens of severe allergies, and nothing else helped. Good luck.

I'm not sure what could be making you lethargic, but cutting out all aspartame sweetened products and deleting MSG from her diet has helped my sister-in-law who has Fibromyalgia. Food allergies and mold allergies are noted to also cause listlessness and lethargy. The itching could be due to fragrances in the cleaners you use on your clothes, bedding, and home. Try going all fragrance free, no air fresheners, sprays with scents, scented candles, hair sprays, perfumes, shampoo's, deodorants, fabric softeners, laundry soaps, cosmetics, etc. Note_Beware of products that say "Fragrance free" yet have "Masking Fragrance" listed in the ingredients. The masking fragrance is much more toxic then the original scent is was used to mask. I hope this helps. God be with you.
