Anyone have ITCHING EARS ? I mean way down deep in the ear. It's a Maddening itch. I do not have it all the time, but it will prevent sleep it's so bad.

I want to take an ice pick and go down as far as the itch and scratch. It's that bad.

I'm thinking it must be some bacteria, or fungus a mungus kind of thing...but Doc says NO. I don't believe that.

It's comes and goes.

Anyone esle suffer with this ? Like we need one more thing ? http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

I am BLESSED nonetheless, SNIFFY <><

I had this problem one time real bad, and ended up with ear infection. Other times, they will itch, and drain, depending on the weather, because I have alot of sinus problems and allergies.

Another cause of itching is when you clean you ears too well, they need some of that protective wax from day to day air borne bacteria's and to keep them water resistant. Could you be cleaning them out too much? Diana

This could be because your ears are dry as well.

I have a type of eczema in my ears that causes them to itch. I have to use a cream in my ears to get them moist. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif
