Can someone give me specific facts about Mamograms? They say that after age 40, you should get them once a year. Are the Mamograms reliable? Also, if something is wrong, how fast does it spread? I always thought that after one got their Mamo and it turned out ok, what about if something developed a month later without noticing it and then you don't get another one for another 11 months. Is it like cervical cancer to where it grows and spreads really slowly? Hmmm....I think to be safe women over 40 should get a Mamo every 3 months, doesn't that sound like a safer way of handling it? A year jusy sounds SOOOO long to go!
