You may have seen my other post - my son is 11 and had mono since February. His blood count is still a little low. He is not able to go to school. He has good days and bad days. Better when I give him olive leaf. My doctor has okayed it for him to go on to infectious disease doctor. Has anyone been helped by seeing an infectious disease doctor. Not really sure what he can do for him.

[Hi Lynn,

I talked with you before. At least the infectious disease should be able to rule tihngs out. Hopefully they have some knowledge in pediatric CFIDS. Many don't. I would get the DOctors Guide to Chronic Fatigue from the library and read it before you go. It is by David S. Bell. Remember these doctor are working for you so don't be afraid to bring things up.How often do you give hinm the Olive leaf? There are many more supplements oout there. Search immun******** and go to the CFIDS boards. Your son sounds so much like my daughter. It isvery hard.

Hugs,
Janet
