hey whiskey,
you're not dieing, though i suspect you wish you were. You made it to the computer, and you managed to type a coherent message. so part of you is alive and kicking.
.
I was once welded to the bed for a month (did make it to the bathroom though). And only ate when hubby brought me food. Took me sevral more months to face leaving the house to get to the doctor. I hated people, couldn't stand the triviality of life and people. People laughing and joking caused me physical pain.
I don't know how I came through it, but somehow I did.

Remember to drink.

when you are so mentally ill, you are better off sleeping through it.
You have gone through so much pain already, you must be very strong. If a little battle weary. Your brain needs to rest and recuperate. Can you get ECT? you've been in a bad way for a long time, perhaps you need "reinforcements".

You're not dying, you are depressed. Really really severely depressed.
Whiskey is there someone looking in on you?
Are you at least sipping some soup?
Don't laugh at me, but I've never been a mom and you seem to bring out every maternal instinct that I have!!
I'm proud of you for getting on the computer - there were days at a time that I didn't have the energy to get up, shower or do more than grab a piece of bread to eat before going back to bed.
The only guarantee I know of about being bipolar is that the word cycle means just what they say it means. You WILL feel better than you do now.
Till then you have a real group of people here who care about you...
