Does anyone else suffer from tightness in there throat?? I have a bad time with choking on everything including water. I have to drink really slow at first and then it seems as if my throat finally opens up and I am able to drink normally. I also have alot of gurgling and noise around my adams apple. IF i have gas and I try to burp, I almost always have to be care to not have something come back up. I thought is was acid reflux at first, but I never get heartburn or acid problems.

I am ibs-c

Packers,

It could be spasms caused by lack of magnesium and calcium in your diet.
My wife has a case similar but does not choke on everything just some things. She take a calcium/ magnesium supplement but to help absorb the calcium you need vitamin- D.

Calium is a natrual relaxer. And lack of magnesium causes muscle to cramps all over the body.

It certainly worth a try!!!

My wife uses a homeopathic remedy Magnsia Phos because she also gets spasms in the lower part of her esophagus --Hiatal hernia area. The remedy is fast acting and has carried it in her purse for 20 years or so --- just to have it readily available--- you just don't know when it can happen and it's very scarey when it happens.
