Hello,
I usually lift 3 times per week, and do cardio 5 times per week for 30 mins. Well I decided to add deadlifts into my workout, so monday night not thinking it would be that strenuous, tossed 150 lbs on the bar and did 3 sets of 10 stiff legged deadlifts. Well I got so sore and I still can't walk straight. Should I have started off a little lighter? It didn't seem too tough...

It never does seem too tough when you are doing them for the first time, any exercise for the first time for that matter. Yes, you obviously did too much. Not that you did any damage but who wants to walk around like they have something stuck up their butt for a week. You might be OK to do the same amount in a week and not be nearly as sore but I'd recommend doing half of what you think you can do to start out and then see how sore you are from that and then go from there. Many times have I had soreness from stiff legged deads, trust me, I feel your pain.
