If the burning pain is around the anus it could be caused by the acidic content of your stool when it comes in contact with an anal fissure. An exam will determine the cause---I am just guessing.

Dear Steveo,
Yes I had burning when I had really bad watery motions... and its as though you have eaten a really bad curry... Like Harry says its to do with the acid content of your motions, mention this when you see your specialist they can give you tablets, also thia may sound a tad crude but when I'm having a bad bout, I put some vaseline on the toilet paper and wipe it on my bottom it just acts as a barrier..
Good luck on the 25th... I also have my appt on the 25th...
Nice to find somebody else in the Uk..
