i just started on dexedrine, took it 3 days, i'm not going to take anymore
my first day a few hours after taking it, i was up and about driving around getting things done, before i left i urinated and afterwards when i was walking or driving, i would slowly feel urine drip out. kind of like the feeling after u urinate normally in the toilet, and there is still a little more that didnt come out u have to shake a little.
next i didnt feel like i had to urinate, but i got the feeling that the urine dripping out would leek all out so i would have to concentrate to hold it as if i were holding it to go to the restroom. when i do go to the restroom after it's become too uncomfortable, i can shake out some, and then it just feels like it fills back up, and will start dripping, if i wait a 10 - 20secs or more i can get myself to urinate and that seems to help a bit, but not for long
this happened every day i took it, the 2nd day i had forgotten to take it at the same time, i was fine before i took it, then not too long after, it started again
on the third day, i had forgotten about it, and drank alot of soda after i had taken the pill, and didnt realize i probably shouldnt until i was about half done w/ my 64oz drink, and for a while after that it was really bad, kept coming out, and sometimes i couldnt control a lil leek that was somewhat more than a few drops, i had to literaly wrap myself with a wad of toilet paper, so i could sit comfortably at my desk
so anyone herd of this?
i read ppl saying its highly addictive, is 3 days too short to get sick off of it? because i took paxil before for a very short time, and it made me sick as a dog getting off it
i think my body is bad with meds, only thing that hasnt had any bad effect is the welbutrin i take

Hey, don't worry about withdrawls. 3 days is not long enough to get sick from dex withdrawl.
Dexedrine is a hard core med and youre right it can be addictive. Sometimes medications can cause urinary problems. It just may not be a common side effect, either that or people don't talk about it much. I know that my neighbor had urinary problems while taking adderall. (which is very similar to dex) He said he had to piss all the time, then sometimes while he was pissing it stopped while he was only half way done, he'd leave the bathroom and have to run back in. This started right when he began taking adderall and after one day free of adderall this went away.

Well first of all I have taken it for several years, (cant remember how long- something never change-ie poor memory). I have noticed I frequently also seem to have to pee but then not really when I go. Hmmm.
Anyhow- side effects going off it even after a long time (like when I forget to call for a refill and it takes weeks to fill sometimes) are that my blood pressure shoots sky high-an unusal withdrawl I suspect- (first month I took it it knocked me out cold and I had to take it at bedtime- yes we are talking about the same drug  the worst side effect to deal with for me is it feels like severe caffine with drawl- the ugly throbbing headache and sense that your shuffling through quicksand. -meme ps the benefits of this drug for me have been absolutely incredible- I dont have to leave my keys in car anymore and can keep track of my liscence and bank card as well! And actually manage to get A's in my night coarse - remember 90% of my doctors appointments for myself and my kids- remember all my deadlines at work and pay a fair share of the improtant bills too.
