Anyone here ever gotten off of Zyprexa? I tried cold-turkey last week and it was horrible. I was never told this drug had withdrawal symptons, nor can I find any information about this on the web. I was just curious if anyone else has tryed to quit like me.
[FONT=Trebuchet MS]Yes, I have, under doctor supervision. The Zyprexa was gradually reduced and replaced with a plethora of other meds. It was used to quickly stabilize me after a particularly horrendous manic episode, which is when my doc realized I was bipolar. I was glad to have the Zyprexa, but glad to be rid of it once on other meds, since I'd gained weight due to increased appetite (sorry, no cold turkey).
