View Full Version : Grandfather with prostate cancer

My Grandfather has had prostate cancer for a while now, and didn't do chemo. It's just recently gotten to the point where he's unable to walk on his own, and he hasn't eaten anything in a while. I hear a common cancer symptom is that everything tastes like metal...? And he's been saying that all the food he tries tastes like that. Every once in a while he'll ask me to make him something to eat, such as soup or fruit. But whenever he tries it he just can't stand the taste of it. Is there certain foods that I could give him that would more likely not taste like metal and be good too him? I know it's an odd question, but please help me if you can. Thanks!
