I think I may have Trichomonas/Trich..but I'm not sure. I've NEVER had sex in my life..but I have all the symptomns, and I'm scared.
The symptoms I have are:
yellowish-green vaginal discharge
itching and irritation of the genital area,
vaginal odour
Frequent urination
I also learned some cold sores are from STD's, in sixth grade I had a genital itching problem, and that year a cold sore had appeared on my chin...
Do you think I have it? Or is this normal? I'm young, I'm still in highschool, could it have something to do with puberty? Please help me.

First of all, based on your earlier symptoms (cold sore, genital itching), you need to be checked for Herpes. People always say that type I is found on the upper part of the body, including the mouth and type II is found in the genital area, however, in the real world, the sites of infections can be reversed.
The yellow-green discharge suggests a bacterial infection, but this puzzles me, because you say you have never had sex. If you feel a burning when urinating, then i would suggest a urine culture. Herpes does not produce a yellow-green discharge. A vaginal gram stain might be helpful.
You need to be examined by a Gyn doctor.

You should definately see your doctor about your symptoms. It does sound like it could be trich, but could also be something simple like a bacterial infection (not an STD). Only a doctor will be able to tell what it is.
About the coldsores....ALL COLDSORES ARE FROM HERPES, not just some. If you have ever had a coldsore, then you do have herpes orally. 80% of the population has oral herpes by the time they reach 14 years of age, and most people contract it while they are children through non-sexual contact. However, if you do have oral herpes, it is very possible to infect someone genitally by performing oral sex on them, even if there is no coldsore present at the time.

I have been reaearching your problem, and this is what i found. The fact you have never had sex rules out a lot of pathogens, Even Trich, GV, and Chlamydia are sexually transmitted diseases.
If your vaginal ph or hormonal changes which normally occur at times during your monthly cycle, the absence of Lactobacilli lowers your immunity and you could get an overgrowth of fecal organisms plus Strep agalactiae. Opinions differ about the significance of these organisms, but if you have a yellow discharge (wbcs), you should have an infection,
It's true that if you have cold sorres, you are carrying Herpes, but be sure what you see is a cold sore.
Take care.
