Haven't heard much from you guys recently. How's the orotate working longterm? How did you broach the subject with your pdoc? I'm so ready to try something--anything--that won't bring with it an army of side effects! But I wonder if my pdoc will even consider it b/c it's nonprescription. Of course, he can't prevent me from trying it, but I don't want to alienate him b/c he's been very patiently working to get me on the right combo of meds.
Any of you have any long-term results and advice on how to bring up the subject with your doc?

[COLOR=Sienna]
I started out taking Serenity and it certainly worked for me. Since menopause my bi-polar symptoms had become more intense. I found the Serenity site, ordered a bottle and it worked very well. But, I could not afford the price, so I found Lithium Aspartate at the health food store and it works just as well in my case.
I have taken 3 or 4 bottles now and had slacked off an was taking the capsules in a hit and miss fashion, dumb thing to do. I could tell a manic episode was coming on and it only took about 4 days on a full dosage to get it under control.
As for telling the doctor....I don't think he's gonna fire you. Ask him to look at the website. This is such a wonderful thing to be side effect free, I'd hate for you to miss the opportunity. :bouncing: :bouncing:
