Well List

I Guess I am ready as I ever will be lol, I am ready to go in tomorrow morning, I thank many of you for your replys on this, and honestly I am trying to remain calm but on the other hand am a nervous reck, so today I will just keep busy and try to remain calm lol, is that possible.
I go in tomorrow the 18th bright and early and hopefully can report back to you all and let you know how things are going in a few days, If there is anyone with any advice for me let me know, I know I have had foot surgery before but was wide awake through it all when they went in before on both of them and just pretty much put me under with a local and I litterly watched the entire procedure now that was amazing, this time though thats not going to happen and this Dr want to put me out which honestly I am more nervous about than anything, even though Its been years since I have been totally put under I am scared to death over it, and how silly is that lol?
:bouncing: So anyway tomorrow is cut the knife day and say a prayer for me.
Blessings
Karrie

Good luck,

Maybe the day before the surgery is the hardest day of all. Good luck and I'll say a prayer for you!

Hi , I hope everything goes well. I am sure it will. It can be a nervous time being put to sleep but I have noticed that you dont really think about it much once it is all going on. Hope that helps. Hugs, Polly

The thing about being totally out of it via anesthesia is it's a chance to totally trust in the skills & knowledge of your surgeon & anesthesiologist. They have done this hundreds of times before & know what they're doing. Besides you don't have to see or hear any awful medical procedures while you're out. Give me an IV over a local any day. Good luck. I know you'll have an easy time of it.
