Not sure where to post this since my doctors can't diagnose it. I hope that someone has some knowledge that will help. Several months ago I awoke in the morning to pain in my shins. It lasted about an hour or two and then my legs felt tired the rest of the day until late afternoon when my calves started hurting. (like the soreness after a bad leg cramp goes away). These symptoms continued for about 5 months while my doctors checked the circulation in my legs, also talked to a nuerologist who didnt think it was in his field. Had indepth blood test that showed nothing as well as a ct from neck to waist. At the same time I had seen fresh blood in my stool so I had a scope run which showed a polip which was removed. Blood in stool stoped and a few weeks before or after so did the leg pain. Four months after stoping the leg pain returned and about the same time so did the blood in stool. (maybe just a coincidence) Now along with the leg pain, I occationaly go to take a step and stumble, Like my leg is to tired to move correctly. Also durring the day I feel Extreemly fatigued, tired, and yawn alot. Usually lasting 10 to 30 minutes, about 3 to 4 times a day. I also have pains in the back of my arms, forearms, and upper chest that feel like a pulled muscle, and only last abot 10 minutes. occationally I am light headed for 10 or so minutes. I have had a brain MRI ran to rule out MS. It doesnt show anything I dont even know what type of doctor to try next....Please help and thank you for reading

I have suffered with breathlessness and muscle cramps all my life. I am getting checked for adrenal fatigue as well as metabolic disease of muscle. You should check out the post by cocomedic 'chronic fatigue a possible explanation', but if the pain is like a cramp consider metabolic disease of muscle or possibly an autoimmune problem - a muscle biopsy should be able to diagnose either of these. Have a look at Muscular Dystrophy Association's 'Facts About Metabolic Diseases of Muscle' factsheet http://www.mdausa.org/publications/fa-metab.html they also have some information about other autoimmune diseases. I hope this helps.

Your problem could be more serious than what I've experienced, but it might be worth a try. I've had severe leg cramps, and on occasion other areas such as arms and hands that seems to be the same kind of pain. My doctor suggested a calcium defiency. I'm not a milk drinker, never have been, so she suggested TUMS. It helps me. Until you can get more information it might be worth a try. It can't hurt. Good luck.
