My daughter was noted to have this rash over her left breast and she thought placing Betadine on it would help, as the days passed it became reddish, with scaling of the skin and weeping. Her left breast has become swollen and I am worried. Could it be a reaction to her bra but its only the left breast that's affected? Is this eczema? what could be the problem? and what treatment is best?

I have eczema on my hands and I sometimes get it in the bends of my elbows and knees and it's really itchy and it sort of looks like alligator skin (it's realy rough and flakes off). When I get it on my elbows, it itches like crazy, but it stings to scratch it.

What I do for treatment is use hydrocortizone cream and a strong cream called Glaxal Base. Don't use cortizone cream too much as it is a steroid cream and makes the skin thin after long-term use.

Thanks Kyla http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif she has started to use a steroid ointment and it is improving and she is also taking some antibiotics, there could also be some infection since she scratched it before it got worse.
