Allergy medicine with antihistamine in it always seems to make me worse. If anyone knows of one without it approved for animal dander i would really appreciate it if you would notify me.

What do you mean by "worse?"
I often feel worse in my sinuses after taking an anti-histimine. I imagine it is a result of the drying effect they can have. Can't seem to get the doc to understand what I am telling him. When I swollow, it feels like sandpaper in my head. I prefer the congestion http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif

In addition, almost every time I tried a new one as he prescribed, a week later I had an infection. I end up with hard, dry mucus far back in my sinuses...

I also feel worse when I take antihistamines. I feel dry from my mouth down into my esophagus. I've found that taking children's Benadryl has helped me. No drying effects.
