I reacted badly to an allergy skin test and have had a very itchy rash on my arm for 2 years. Has this happened to anyone else? My doctors can't do anything that helps the itching and I'm afraid i'm going to have this forever. I had a biopsy done and there's no trace of allergen in the skin so does anyone have an idea what this could be because my doctors have been of little help?

See a dermatologist, they specialize in skin conditions.
I've gone to a dermatologist and many allergists, but because this is a rxn to allergy testing, I think most dermatologists would refer me to an allergist. I was just wondering if anyone had the same kind of rxn and found something that helped. Not one doctor has had any clue as to how I should treat this prob. I think it's a rare scenario (my luck!)

Have you tried anahistamines to help the itch. Benydryl is one that comes to mind that was given my kids for itch of smallpox vaccinations. Also there is a benydryl spray.
I have Grover's Disease on chest and a prescription cream containing anahistimine was given to help the itch.
Have you tried baking soda or vinegar on the area to help neutralize the area? This may or may not be of any help. I know you are looking for straws now, so it might not hurt to experiment.
