View Full Version : How many allergy meds at one time???

I have found that if I just take one kind of allergy meds (usually Clariton or Allegra) it helps a little, but not completely. But if I take something else in addition, like Tavist or some other over the counter med, it really seems to knock it out. (I used to take Flonase which worked, but not covered by insurance anymore). Do you think this is safe, or should I just stick with one and be miserable? I told my G.P. doctor and he didn't say anything, but I am without an allergist at the moment. Thanks.

Hey, I get allergie shots every other week and I take Allegra(used to be Claritan) once a day. And, before I go to bed I use Flonase. It works for me and that is the advice from my allergist. So, I don't see the harm in taking more than one med, but I might ask an allergist. Just to be shure.
