My son has been on Strattera since March. We have had very good results with most bad side effects subsiding. The only gripe I have is that mornings are hell. He takes his capsule in the morning with breakfast but the time before breakfast, or sometimes just getting him to eat and take his medicine is really taxing. I've heard some people taking Strattera at night to avoid the sleepy side effects has anyone noticed any rebound effect at night? I would be willing to switch to evening medication but if it'll make dinner time or early evening tough I'm just switching one difficult time for another.
I know some people add doses. I would hate to add additional doses at nighttime to help out for 20 minutes in the morning.
If anyone has had similar challenges or has suggestions please let me know.

I've heard people having good success after splitting the dosage in a morning and an evening dose, i.e. instead of giving 40 mg, they take 20 mg AM, and 20 mg PM.
