Take a look at the recent post "Equlibriation" there is a thread of discussion about braces, shaving, crowns that might help a little

are your symptoms under control? usually, before starting any treatment, your dentist will discuss what will happen during/after phase I and II treatment.

do you have a repositioning splint? in some cases, in phase II, crowns or braces will be used. or, you can stick with a permanent splint if you dont want to do anything irreversible.

take care,
