I Am Reading All The Stuff On Corti-slim And Cortitrol. What About The Cortidrene? Cortislim Is 6 For 199.99, Cortidrene Is 6 For $118.00. If It Is The Same Stuff And Works The Same, It Would Seem Logical To Go With The Cortidrene. Do You Still Sleep Well With The Cortidrene? Anyone Knowing Anything About This Please Reply. Am Truly Anxious To Get Either Corti-slim, Cortitrol, Or Cortidrene. If Any Of These Work Better Than The Other, I Need To Order Right Away. Am Truly Anxious To Find Something That Works...thanks A Bunch. Please Keep The Thread Going On The Cortisol Product...

I was really stressing about my 20th year reunion....I had gained 25 pounds since graduation. I began taking CortiDrene and experienced remarkable results. Not only did I lose the weight but I felt better and had a sharper mental outlook. I no longer felt apprehensive about the reunion, I looked forward to it......and I looked great

WOW, this must be Amber from Utah! I saw this exact story on the Cortidrene success story website.
Do you work for Cortridrene? Cortridrene seems to be a knock-off product of CortiSlim and actually popped up only less than a month ago from nowhere.
We need to be careful what they purchase on the internet. Price means nothing. Anyone can make claims and anyone can pretend to be anything in the internet world, and unfortunately for consumers, it can be very dangerous.
Just be careful.

I had the same thoughts about this person. They are REALLY trying to promote Cortidrene and made MANY replies to people about it. Nobody else has had anything to say about Cortidrene, yet. Brenosh6 keeps saying in his/her posts that "Cortidrene Rocks!". Does that sound like something that a person who is old enough to have a 20 yr reunion would say? Just something to ponder.

Very astute Sawbuck. I believe someone already posed that question as to whether or not this person is on the Cortidrene payroll and I've yet to see a reply to that question. I did order some Cortidrene for my Mom and the labeled ingredients are exactly the same as those on the Cortitrol bottle with the exception of grape seed extract. Mom started taking the Cortidrene the Monday before T'giving and by Thursday said she had started sleeping again which is great. She's only taking one a day, at night and I told she really needed to take the 2 that the bottle says but you know Mom's.
Hubby is taking Cortitrol 2x at lunch and he's not eating nearly as much and he's sleeping very well also. He asked me to order him another bottle so he won't run out which really surprised me. Everybody that he works with is wondering why he's been so much calmer-they think he's having more sex which I won't confirm or deny.
Anyway the Cortidrene and Cortisol are priced within a couple of bucks of each other but I still think the Cortislim was better than the Cortitrol from the aspect of mood enhancement and my problems with IBS. Was it the added Vit C and calcium in Cortislim? Don't know. Just know I'll continue to take one of the 3 products until things around me settle down enough that I'm not stressed out to the max every damn day.
Brensho6, we're all just wondering why you are so sold on the Cortidrene>

I am sold on Cortidrene because it works. No I do not work for the company! Yes we do need to be careful on the internet. By the way when did cortislim "Pop" up on the internet. If you think Cortislim is the why for you to go fine . I for one can not afford $50.00 for 1 bottle.. And to anser you question why I am sold on the Cotidrene WORKS! The question you should be asking is why Cortislim Cost so much.

It does not make you sleepy during the day at all. But, I did not get my lunch pill taken the other day, so I took it with supper. Went to bed tired, but could not get to sleep for hours. I think it was the Cortislim.

It took about 3 weeks to show weight lose on the scale. I've lost 11 lbs. My clothes started getting looser before the scale showed any loose. I am sleeping much better and my stress level is lower. I don't have the snack attacks like before. I am now eating less carbs and doing the walking tapes.

I’m interested in hearing about any side effects you’ve experienced from taking Corti Slim (or Cortidrene since they’re virtually the same). I purchased my first bottle of Corti Slim yesterday for $35 from my favorite health food store. (From the posts here, it sounds as if Cortidrene is more expensive because the dosage is higher.)
I took my first pill with “lunch” after working out . About an hour later I felt the need for a nap and lay down for a quickie. I woke up 3 hours later. That is SO not like me. Also experiencing some “dry mouth.” Wondering if either/or is Corti Slim related. (Btw, I take liquid calcium at night and for muscle cramps. I works to help me sleep and is a great muscle relaxant. So, I don’t think my extended nap is because of the small amount of calcium in the Corti Slim.)
I almost DIDN’t buy Corti Slim because the main claim to fame is the appetite/craving suppressant qualities and that is NOT the reason I’m overweight. (I do not have an overeating/unhealthy eating problem.) Working out is my proven weight reduction solution, but at my age and with my virtually non-exist metabolism it is SO hard and it takes SO long. (I was bummed.) I finally decided to try it because of anti midsection fat storage (where I store most of my excess weight) and stress claims. I’m determined to lose this excess 40 pounds and I’m hoping the Corti Slim will help kick it up notch and help expedite the process! Would love to hear from anyone with a similar weight loss problem to mine who’s experienced results (or not) on Corti Slim. (I’ll also post my Corti Slim results-or lack thereof. J) Thanks!

I started taking cortidrene about a month ago. though i havent noticed any weight loss on my scale, what i have noticed is a huge change in my anxiety level.
i have been on ativan, 1.0 mg for almost 2 years, 4-6 times a day because i get horrid tension headaches. when i read the ingredients in cortidrene, i felt like it was worth a shot. i started taking 2 in the am and 2 at lunch. i do not feel sleepy at all, i feel more clear headed than ihave in years. I have also noticed that my tension headaches dont start until 4-5 pm now, whereas i usually wake up and have one immediately becuase of my anxiety.
All in all, i havent noticed weight loss yet, tho i hope to. but even if i dont, i am sticking with this because it works so great for stress reduction.
As far as i can tell, its the green tea, valerian root and st johns wort in cortifrene that makes the difference. other products that say they do the same thing do not have these specific ingredients, and i am connvinced it is this combination that makes it work.
so far i have only ordered it from the official site.
is anyone still taking it? if so, how are the results after 3-4 months? and is there a better price out there? the site has a buy 4 get 2 free for 129.00. . .
thanks!

How do you know it is not old rancid banned pharmecuetical diet pills combined with vitamins? It has been done before.
when you mess with diet pills most which are precursers ... catastrophic effects like MS and Parkinsons in the long run. This is why people go crazy it affects them neurologically.
If you have stress in your life take a follic acid or b-complex lowest dose not everyday nor constantly because even b high dose long term affects you neurologically.
Drink water eat vegetables and work out your body and mind will thank you. I put a picture of a small famine malnourished 3rd world child on my refridgerator that is my magic pill.

I have only been taking Cortidrene for 4 days. I am taking 2 in the morning and then 2 more about 3pm. It says to take them before breakfast and before lunch. I take the morning dose about 8:30am and then I eat lunch at 12:30. That seems too close together to take all four pills. So can someone please advise more of a timeline that I should be doing so I can obtain maximum results? Seems like another key here is to drink lots of water. Please advise.

The sad thing is nothing is going to work inless you exercise and eat senseably...I hate even saying that...LOL but I know it's true. I would just like to find something to supress my appetite especially at night when the chocolate craving attack! But I have read alot about both the pills you are talking about and all in all they don't seem very good. I have read some post where people say they just do not work at all and that it's a waste of money.
I want to take the phentermine but can't cause it makes me sick.....

I am also interested to know where I can find the Cortidrene Brand for $25.00 or less! Also, is there somewhere I can go to find out exactly what ingredients are in this product and what, if any, adverse side effects or warnings are applicable? I have other health issues besides stress and weight, such as high cholesterol, hypothyroidism, etc., and I don't want to take anything that might stress my heart, etc.

Hi I do not work for Cortidrene .I'm a chubby grandmother but at the rate I'm going I won't be chubby for long : I started and have tried cortislim but it did not work then I tried CORTIDRENE I swear it works I have a lot of heath problems such asthma and several other things so i was very cautious about trying it But I weighed 197 pounds two and a half months ago I'm a GM at a motel and have to work pretty hard I could not walk to the end of the motel with out giving out of breath and I still have that problem but I can tell it is not as bad I'm only 5 ft tall so you can image but bottom line is I now weigh 179 pounds the only problem I had taking the Cortidrend was I was taking too much and almost ITCHED to death I kid you not I actually had hives so you may not be able to take as much as they recommend I am now taking 1 15 min before each meal and it is working great I really am so impressed with it because I never though I would lose the weight after I had a stroke in 2001 BUT I DID and I just order more I just hope it keeps working this is for real it may not work for everyone but I promise it is working for me

Well I tried Xenadrine about a year ago it did absolutley nothing for me. I was very dissapointed.... I also tried Zantrex 3 They did nothing to help me lose weight. BUt did give me incredible energy but was very nervous and jittery. I have just purchased Cortidrene after lots and lots of research of all the relacore and the cortislim and I found that cortidrene seemed to be the best as far as what people were saying there results were. So I am waiting for that to come in. It should be here tomorrow. I will keep you all posted on how my progress goes.

The sad thing is nothing is going to work inless you exercise and eat senseably...
Until someone comes up with something so that I can eat foolishly, I'm not interested.

Well today is November 5, 2004. I have been on Cortidrene for 9 days now. And I can not say that I have noticed a significant change. I have noticed that I am sleeping well at night which I could not before. I am tired and ready to go to bed at about 8 or 9 pm. Where as before I would struggle to go to sleep till 4 or 5 in the morning. But that is the only improvement I have noticed so far. I started this on Oct 27. I went to my doctor on 10-29 and was weighed and I am at 201 lbs. So I will let you know in the coming weeks if this changes.

Hi was just wondering how things were going as of today for you, I have been fighting my weight and poor sleeping habbits for some time now and I really need to do something I am young at 31 years old yet I feel as old and worn out as my grand mother... no energy alllll day! When night falls I lay down and get up all through the night then alarm goes off at 4:30 am and I feel like a zombie. I was told it was cause I smoked... well I quit smoking a month ago and still cant sleep and to make things worse I have put on about 7lbs in that month I am now feeling like a beached whale at my yucky 182 lbs. I need something and I am scared to try yet another pill for weight control for fear of let down and waisted $$$. I am a single working mother of 3 pre-teens. That in it self brings alot of stress and very costly...lol

The cortidrene did not work for me. I felt better but lost absolutly no weight. I am not on the Curb Your Cravings Plus diet patch. Been on it 6 days. I notice a little difference but not major yet ofcourse i know its still early. But They said you could feel it instantly working and I did.

This is a question for anyone who wants to answer. I am 39, mother of 3. I am a healthy eater and very active. I have been exercising all of my life. I enjoy it! I am a firm believer that pills are not the answer you must take charge and make lifestyle changes. But I am curious about the Cortislim/Cortidrene products. Between having children and genetics I carry my weight in my mid-section. I really only need to lose around 15 pounds. Between stress and genetics I am wondering if either of these products would truly be jump a start to get rid of these 15 pounds that have hung around for years. I don't have trouble sleeping but my stress level is very high and I am learning that stress causes your body to produce this chemical to store excess fat in the mid-section. So that is what has sparked my interest in these products. Can the Cortidrene be purchased in a store or is it only available only on-line? I have seen the Cortislim in my local Wal-mart. Any advice on whether these products may be just the little boost I need?

Has anyone consulted with doctors about taking Cortidrene? I am interested in it but am afraid of side effects. Is it like a herbal supplement or more like a drug?
Thanks in advance for any response.

i think, for only 15lbs to lose (though i know it's fusterating because the last lbs are ae always the hardest), it is too much of a risk to take a pill to lose weight-especially when you have three children. obviously, you can take a pill and never have a problem, but if you do end up with a problem (since diet pills affect people differently and most can lead to injury/stroke/heart problems), then think about how youwould explain to your children that their mother is not the same anymore because she wanted to be skinny?
spend the money and take a yoga class/buy a yoga video or some other stress reducing technique. also read up on cortisol (stress hormone) and ab fat. i think (though i could be mistaken) that what scientists have discovered is that there is a high amount of cortisol in people who have abdominal fat...it would probably be unwise to say one caused the other.
since a diet pill does not work without a change in eating habits (and therefore maybe the only thing a diet pill is good for is to produce a psychological affect of motivation and determination to lose), maybe you should just try that for a while. foods high in fibre, vegeatbles, fruit, whole grains, lean protein, 3-6 small meals/day, not drinking water within the half hour before/after a meal, exercise (walking /running/swimming with ab work is great for for the midsection, no processed/junk foods (including pop/fast food/prepackaged meals). modify your eating habits first and really stick to it before you try any pills.

In an earlier post someone mentioned that the dose for Cortidrene was double the dose of Cortislim which made it more expensive than Cortislim. I have been comparing these two supplements and as far as I can tell the amount of ingredients/ pill is similar in each. Cortislim recommends you start with two pills a day and increase to four if the initial dose seems to not work. Their nutritional information is based on a one pill dose. Cortidrene says the dose is two or four pills per day and their nutritional information is based on a two pill dose. I couldn't compare exactly because Cortislim lumps a lot of ingredients together into a few brand name mixtures.
I ordered some Cortidrene today. I hope it works. I have trouble losing weight no matter how much exercise and healthy eating I do so I hope this can help me lose one or two pounds each week.

Have been using Cortidrene for about three weeks in conjunction with a version of the South Beach Diet and have lost 15 lbs. Cortidrene is more like an herbal supplement than a diet pill. Contains some beneficial amino acids too. Had no side effects at all. But I do feel less stressed out during the day, I have less of an urge to snack, and my memory has improved as well as being more mentally focused. It is working well for me as a tool, in a new healthier lifestyle that I am trying to stick to. :)
Hope this helps.........from a middle aged, midwestern firefighter trying to keep up with these young guys.

I've used Cortidrene and Relacore, I like Cortidrene better. It is a lot cheaper than Cortislim, so I tried it first. I take one every morning. It helps me calm down by the time I get to work (I teach 12 year olds) and helps keep me from eating compulsively due to stress. Love it!

I get my Cortidrene on ebay. I haven't found it in the stores. I like it because it helps me with the compulsive stress eating. I don't think of it as a pill, more like a supplement. It's not like the average diet pill that just speeds you up. It is mildly calming. I only take one on an empty stomach in the morning...I took two once and it made me feel really loopy and sleepy!

I can see this thread iz gonna get bigger.
I am an overweight 44 year old male who has been down the weight loss road for years and am genetically challenged from weight loss. Got it on both sides of the family. I look at the life long battle of weight loss as a battle over the dangers of being overweight as opposed to the dangers involved in taking the pills. Two weeks ago I got interested in the Corti-products side of the issue when I noticed that my Sam's Club was selling Relicor and Corti-Slim and begin talking to my pharmacist bud there. This young man will bend over backwards to give you any knowledge including pamphlets, sales stats, side effects and he won’t let you leave until your all your questions are answered thoroughly. (Something you don’t find a lot of nowadays)
I am recovering from an accident that has kept me mostly inactive for nine months and have recently learned that high cholesterol, mega high triglycerids, and high blood pressure are showing up in checkups confirming I'm not getting any younger. Weight loss is now a serious issue for me and I have spent years trying the newest prescription meds. Adipex, which may have put me in this position after years of off and on use, is just what the doctors say it is. It is short term dangerous business that often doesn’t work.
Meridia is another shot at Phen-Phen that did little for me also but sends me to a second dimension similar to Prozac.
For those of you interested in following the Corti-products road, as I said earlier, your Sam's Club may have two products that are "reasonably" priced as compared to shopping online. I paid about $50 for two 90 count bottles (twin-pac) of Relicore and have been taking it religiously for a week. I can honestly say it has boosted my energy, mood, sleep and has had a pretty profound effect on my sweet tooth and my ability to get up and walk away from the dinner table. I have had no undesirable side effects with this one but their "it's not you fault" ad hype tends to make me puke. Online research of the long term weight loss benefits of these Corti-products seems to be rather limited since most are relatively new. Most of the "legitimate" web site reviews point to Cortidrene as a top seller in part due to its price and testimonials. I will be giving it a shot pretty soon also. For those of you still searching, best of luck in finding what "floats your boat".
Thanx for the space healthboards.
