That is the slogan that one of the gyms in town is using and I like it. I am resolving to bust my butt now in a continued effort to get healthy and lose weight. Then, when January comes and all the people come into the gym with renewed energy from their new year's resolutions, I will already have 2 months on them and have lost weight and be feeling great (I do feel great these days, that is what a little success will do for you).

I am trying to keep reachable goals in mind, like the mini-goals that Chipmunkis started (I think that was you, right? and thanks!). My goal for January 1 is to have lost 10lbs and be at 199. I don't even know when I went over 200lbs because I threw my scale out years ago, but getting back down below that number is going to feel fantastic.

Anyone else want to do New Years in November? Set yourself a goal and start today, not in January - by January you will already be well on your way! Let's go, up and at 'um everyone! :bouncing:

My mini-goals thread was deleted, I guess they felt it was in the same category as the "challenges" .... I still do it for myself, but I do miss sharing it!
