I've got the combination IBS-C and IBS-D. My doctor tried me on Zelnorm but it gave me terrible diaherra. He's now has me trying NuLev. It's seems to be working without any side effects. Has anyone tried NuLev? What, if any, problems have you experienced with it?

Hi. Yes, I did try Nulev. It really didn't work for me. I then tried Librax, which was okay, but I started getting really bad acne as soon as I started taking it so my Dr. switched me to Donnatal extend tabs. So far....so good! I only take them when I start to feel crampy. It definately helps with the cramps. The only side effect I don't like is that I get a really dry mouth and throat. But, hey.....if it helps with my IBS symptoms, I can handle it.
