I am very fustrated, long story short, last Oct. i had my son, in the hospital i was in alot of pain after, which i thought was b/c of this being my fourth baby. i Dec. i had a tubal and the doc told me i had a very large cyst that he popped or drained. well at my follow up i was still having pains, bearable, but still there, he played it off. well i still have it only on the left side, so i went to my normal doc and she ran test and a cat scan said i had cyst on the l. ovary agin. she told me she thought i had PCOS b/c of the cyst and high insulin levels.i am getting no where with these people. i still have pain and feel every month like i am ovulating but i cant since im on the pill. i get horrible back pains now and my periods are messed up, but no one will help. any ideas, please!
sorry this turned so long ;)

Have they said anything about simply removing the ovary? I say that only because you already have 4 kids and have had this for awhile. Should you decide to have more children, the right ovary can still ovulate. I had my last baby with one ovary.
I had my left ovary removed and things were alot better. I didnt deal with cysts for a long time. Good luck to you

Nothing about removal, and this pain is fairly new(1yr).
the obgyn just says" oh it must be small now cauz i cant feel it and kinda laughs" well its bothering me so lets do something! adn with the messed up period he plays that off too, until i started to cry, then he switched my pill adn said that Ablation could be an option w/ the bleeding, but not with the left ovaary pain.
