I read on another board that prelief, a OTC drug used for heartburn, is good for IBS. I have been using it for about a month and it helps me keep regular and have firmer stools. Just wanted to let you know

I have some prelief that they told me to try for my interstitial cystitis. I also have IBS sometimes like now pretty bad. Is it still helping you? My problem right now is pain or cramping all around my waistline even my back. I can hardly stand up straight. It's trapped gas I think. I can't get rid of it. Just curious if the prelief helps you digest your food better so you don't get so much painful gas and cramping.

prelief just makes my stool more solid. I guess it kind of helps with digestion, but i don't know about gas.
