Hi i had my bloode taken few weeks ago, i just had my results, My haemoglobin level is 14.6 apparently it is good? i dont understand what this is? and my testosterone level was only mildy raised? can anyone help me on this plse, i am unable to see the doctor for 4 weeks unless it is an emercency..

14.6 is an excellent number for a woman. My goal has been to get to 14 since February, but I just can't get there. Normal values at sea level are between 12 and 14 and at altitude are between 14 and 16. Most women are a little on the lower side because of their periods and men are on the higher side.

This tells you how much red blood you have. As you probably know, you need red blood to carry oxygen all over your body. When you don't have enough, some of your cells suffer from not getting enough oxygen. This is called anemia. Having too much can cause a person to be tired, but I think that is up around 16 or 17.
