I have been suffering from allergies ever since I can remember. I have seasonal allergies which result in hives, itchy eyes and skin, stuffy nose, and sinus infections all year round.

I also experience multiple chemical sensitivities which leaves me vulnerable to migranes, watery eyes, and itchy burning skin when exposed to heavy perfumes and certain fragrances, cleaning solvents, cigarette smoke, and even the air in grocery stores, malls and department stores.

The list goes on... I have reactions to make up, shampoos, candies, fabrics, and certain foods. I have been tested and confirmed allergic to.... dust, dust mites, cats, dogs, and trees.

I have days when I'm fine, but many more when I suffer from sinus pain, red swollen itchy watery eyes, stuffy nose and migranes and discomfort. I also frequently suffer from naseau and all over malaise, and tiredness. Other than my allergies my health is good, but when I have my bad days, i become restless, feel helpless and depressed convinced that my allergies will get the best of me.

I know that I am not the only person in this situation. What I don't know is how you all live with this. I have tried shots, pills, sprays everything.. And if it works, it only works for a little while before the allergies return full force.

If anybody out there knows of a natural way to treat or prevent allergies that I can work into my life, Your ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time

I suggest very strongly to going to seeing a Naturopath - they are like doctors but help out only with dispensing solutions for any medical problems using natural products - natural remedies and so forth.
I used to have moderately bad asthma and itchy eyes, itchy nose, rashes to a point where i would not be able to sleep at night due to intense itching all over my arms and hands, so in the end after all doctors medicines werent working i went to see a naturopath which gave me "herbal tonics" to take, i made sure i took these exact to prescription and also i changed all my products in the house to natural products etc like laundry powders etc. the brand i use for all these things are Grace products. I think there are stockists in England, however u would probably need to look up the website in order to get the exact details. try searching in yahoo or some other search engine. they are called "Pro-Ma Grace" products. Anyway, after using the tonics for 1 year my asthma has cleared and i no longer get it anymore, as it made my lungs stronger and this helped.

Anyway, good luck.

Sorry, this quote is the same above, but I just realised youre from London, Canada, not London England...so this is why I have the double post here. For sure they are in Canada though - I checked the address on the back of the products.

Milk allergies no longer! I am 45 and have had severe allergies to milk and casseinate which is a by product to milk. I have been on a restrictive diet that I imposed on myself to avoid all the occurences of dairy so I could stop taking allergy medicine.
My secret is nasal irrigation with common table salt and baking soda. Wow! The 1st day I started using it and the very next day I could eat dairy again. I use it twice a day and feel like a new person. It turned my food allergies off like a light switch. I can eat anything with no running nose, sneezing, irritability and NO DRUGS! There is hope.....good luck.

I suffer from seasonal allergies, and I have been taking,Freeze dried Nettles. It'sa pill form that you can purchase from a natural food store. No more seasonal allergies.Except I will say it does not help with the itchy eyes.I use warm tea bags on my eyes at night time.. That seems to take he swelling and the itch away!!
