i have an ob on my face, never had one on my face before now another one is appering what can i do to get rid of these i work with the public and they look horrible, they arent on my mouth they are on my face can i use like crushed garlic from a jar to put on these to make them go away sooner i am at a loss here someone please help!!!!!!!

ok i have been reading diff stuff on this board for a few weeks now and i am confused about some stuff if someone could please shed some light on this i would apprecitate it........ok 3 yrs ago i was diagnosed with h in my genital area now i was never told if this was h1 or h2 i didnt know then their was a difference...my first ob was horrible, i get ob's once and a while in the genital area usually one sore in the same spot but a couple days ago i got this thing on my face not mouth but face they said on here that yes it could be an ob, so have i passed on my genital h to my face now is it the same type of h or it this diff now??? Please help i am really confused about this!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry, confused. I've never had it above my waist either. Seems like the garlic would probably help. If I were you, I'd do a search (search button at the very top right of this page, not the ones right after each post) for, maybe, the word "oral" and see what you get (you'll get a lot of titles of threads, but should be able to tell which may have the best advice by the titles.) Make sure to choose only the herpes forum (on the right on the search page,) or who knows what kind of discussions you'll tap into! Seems like recently , the last two weeks, there were suggestions made about healing cold sores fast.

Oops, you got that second post in while I was posting mine! It's possible that you spread the h yourself. Are you sure it's h?

No matter what type you have (and you can have either type anywhere on your body,) if you spread it around your own body, it is still the same type, just in a different area. In that case, what you have done is gotten some of the virus on your fingers, then pretty soon after you must have touched or scratched your face, leaving the virus in another place. If you got it from someone else, like by kissing, then it may be the type you have, or it may not.

If you have any doubts aout it being h, maybe you shouuld get the sore cultured. There are bacterial infections and allergic reactions, too.

thanks for your help , im not sure its h on my face, i never would have even considered it before reading this board and learning about h more....i had been with a guy monday nite he performed oral sex on my then kissed me yes, but i didnt have an ob when we had sex, and this sore popped up the day after this could it have showed up there that soon??? now i am gettin another one on my face up on the side of my nose by my eye, i duno if this is h or not its driving me crazy not knowing and i have to go to work with these on my face :confused: i just never thought it could spread to the rest of my body from having gential h, this just gets worse.....but ty for your help!!!!

Just a thought... have you had a cold or anything lately? Like have you been blowing your nose a lot? I ask because my sisters boyfriend gets something there in the winter when his nose runs a lot and it's actually a staph infection. Maybe it could be something like that?

i actually do have a head cold right now the day the sore popped up i had a bad sore throat then i got a cold a day later, i just dont know what this thing is it looks like an open sore and was oozing stuff the other day it is starting to dry up now. I suppose it could be something other than h i just wasnt sure what and like i said before i started visiting this board i never would have thought it was h on my face in this spot....but u guys are great on here u have helped me out alot with my questions and with some things i didnt know about h even though i have had it for a few years...so keep up the good work and god bless you guys for your help!!!!!
