I hope that someone can answer a question. I have 3 spots on my forehead. All are a pink/purple color, and are not rasied or have any bumps. When I press on them, they dissappear, and then return as blood seems to be retunring to them.

Is it likely that these are KS? I have had none of the symptoms of ARS - no weightloss, excecpt for a few lbs from dieting, no fevers, diarrea, or any of the other stereotypical symptoms of ARS. My last encounter that was 3 months ago, and the activities were what are typically considered low risk/safe (receptive oral w/no ejaculation, receptive anal w/condom, and no condom breakage.)

I also have what appears to be a bruise on the back of my hand, but it is so faint that it may have just been where I bumped something and did not realize it.

So, I hope that someone with more knowledge and experience than I have may be able to give me a little insight. Oh, one of the spots on my forehead seems to be in a place where I had picked at something that seemed to be growing (pimple perhaps). I am likely just being over attentive, but I hope that someone may be able to give me some info. I do not want to search all over the net for an answer. I think that I may go crazy with that, and find symptoms that are not really there.

you will go crazy looking for answers because you find more symptoms and although they may pertain to a million other things, your mind will manipulate it into something horrible. i am by no means an expert. i started using the board at first because i thought i may have been infected by a past boyfriend whom i found out was not very faithful to me. now that i have a husband and son, i was REALLY freaked out. i came to this message board and looked for answers, but the bottom line is, as it was for me, you just have to get the test. there is another person whom frequents this page, MaybeHelpful. They know a whole lot more than i do, and the information they have is very straight forward. hopefully they will see this post and be able to answer you with more information. all i can tell you is that i believe ks lesions (sp?) are typically found in persons whom are nearing or have full blown AIDS. they do usually show up on the face and scalp, but can be found all over the body. however, i don't think this pertains to you because you would most likley have been a lot sicker by now and/or diagnosed. my only advice is to get the test. it sounds like you are careful and use protection so you are at a low risk. the max as they say for HIV to show up is 6 months, but i would still get tested now. like i said though, i am just learning myself. and after a year and a half of wondering i know i am negative. it's scary at first, but as they say again ..."the truth shall set you free... ":D
