ok,i don't know what to do with myself.I posted before on here about this issue and didn't get any responses.i'm 23 and started using unison 2-4 pills per night 4 yrs ago.I get mood swings or feel depressed on some days.my boyfriend said if i don't stop the pills he will leave me and we are planing to get married and have children someday. But he thinks our kids would be having birth defects,i wouldn't even think about taking the pills if i were pregnant.and can my liver get damaged too?he thinks it's so easy to just stop taking them and go to sleep at night. i tried exercise, didn't help.i worry to much and there is always something on my mind.i don't have health insurance, don't know where to get help.

Oh, please go and see a good, compassionate doctor! You may have some underlying physical problems--thyroid problems are always suspect, for example--which could be causing your restlessness. If nothing like this turns up, your doctor could prescribe something healthier than Unisom.
Another benefit of getting help from a professional is that your boyfriend might take your sleep issues more seriously and understand that you are not just taking pills for kicks!
Good luck to you.
