Hi

I have a few questions. My first question is how can u distinguish Angina between heartburn and indigestion?and also how long does Angina pain usually last where is it located and what exactly does it feel like?

Another thing I want to ask is for maybe hmmmm almost 3 years now i have been getting the same weird chest pain. Sometimes once a month, sometimes once week, and sometime even a few times a week or day. I have no idea what is causing it over the years I have tried to find out what it is and have tried to find differerent triggers but when it happens it's always changing... somethings i have noticed that has triggered it is

after eating/drinking
bending over
exercising like jogging or dancing
lying down
nervousness
anger
stress
during my period
sometimes just sitting around or standing
taking a DEEP breath

those are some of the things i have noticed over the years have triggered this pain but it's always changing... what it feels like well its so hard to describe it is in the center of my chest and it (usually) happens like 99% of the time upon Inhaling it sort of feels cold and its a sharp pain lasting probably 1-2-3 seconds the pain is not really severe but it is really scary and ofcourse being the healthfreak that i am it doesn't really help

Anyways what im wondering is, does anyone know anything about this or have this?does anyone knows what causes it?also if it was a heart problem would I know about it by now?

Also is this an Angina type pain or heart related pain or is it more of a stomach related problem...I always thought that maybe it had to do with eating but sometimes i notice I get it in the morning before I have eaten anything!

if anyone could help me out that would be great!

O and by the way I'm 16 years old :D

Heart angina pain usually feels like a tight band around one's chest that patients often describe as a "crushing pain", feels like someone is sitting on their chest. They say that it's more of a dull tightness than anything.
Another thing I want to ask is for maybe hmmmm almost 3 years now i have been getting the same weird chest pain. This isn't heart angina, I can tell you that right now. If anything, it could be from acid reflux...and yes, you can get that even in the morning before you're eaten anything. It often gets bad/worse, lying down. Normally people say that this is more of a burning sensation, but it can manifest itself as chesty type pains too.
Anyways what im wondering is, does anyone know anything about this or have this?does anyone knows what causes it?also if it was a heart problem would I know about it by now?
Trust me it's not a heart problem....especially considering how long it's gone on for, and the fact that you're 16 :) The pain you're having, if it's due to acid reflux, happens basically because acid from your stomach is kinda leaking up in to your esophagus. You should try chewing a tums, see if that helps...and if it doesn't, try taking an over the counter H2 blocker like Zantac....

If this continues or has been going on for along time, please see your doctor. You could have GERD or another type of acid-reflux disease that can be easily controlled with a prescription medication. Some peoples' bodies just over produce stomach acid. Please see a doctor, so that you are not taking an over the counter drug for too long.
