Hello all. I have been suffering from an off balance sensation for the past 5yrs. Doctors have never officially diagnosed me with anything. I have had test after test after test including 2 MRI'S. All have come up with no answers to this problem. I was tested for allergies a couple of years ago. I tested positive for a few different things. Such as polen, cats, certain trees.....etc etc. One condition that the nurse told me that I had was Candidiasis (Yeast). The ear nose and throat doctor that I currently have.... Has what I would call bad bedside manners to say the least. He didn't even know I had this condition until a couple of visits later. Anyways....to make along story short. This doctor has brushed this off as a possible suspect to my problem. So inturn so did I. For the past few years I just learned to live with it. In the past few weeks the balance has been acting up more than what I'm use to. So again I'm looking for answers. I was flipping through a nutritional book and was stunned to learn of what Candidiasis can do to your system if left untreated.Out of a possible 22 syntoms...I have 17 of those. The other syntoms were realated problems that the woman would encounter. My question is this. Can this condition be treated with a prescription as apose to a six month flush? Regards D. Holloway.

I know your message was old-but I am experiencing the same off-balance feeling, combined with some fatigue. Ithas been about 8 months now. I have had all the MRIs and vertigo tests done and only came out with hypersensitivity to water in the ear(the ENG test). My doctor diagnosed it as vestibular neuritis(or from a past virus say mono or from travel). I am 25 and it is really controlling my life. THe doctors think it will slowly get better and acupuncture seems to be working combined with chinese berbs. I have tried meclizene, been told a dieuretic might work and I take low dose valium when it is really bad. Do you experience anxiety with it?
