Ok I have a question for anyone will8ing to help with there opinion..My son Is 10 and he has been on Adderal xr 10mg for a year and a half... This worked good and still works good except it wears off way to early. The stimulant in it we don't dare to up because he has tourettes. He has some major and minor ticks. We are just worried that they will increase... Know they have strattera out and everyone wants me to try this... after reading some of these forums in here I am not sure that I want to risk the wonder mood swings.. We have a hard enough time now...He has an appointment tomorrow with his neurologist. I am just not sure.

If it wears off too early, maybe the doctor can prescribe regular (short-acting) Adderall for an afternoon dose. I have often heard that if you found something that works great for your kid, stay with it!
