I have a few questions concerning candida.#1 is does anyone know where i can find a diet for candida on the web?
#2 is can a normal doctor do tests to find out if you have candida?
#3 is how long does it usually take to cure candida. Ive been off work for months now and i really need some answers. Thank-you.

1. We cannot give you web sites due to the board rules, but there is a ton of info out there. There are a few good books on it too, with diet suggestions. I used a few.

2. A medical doctor will not be able to help you with candida. They are not at all very knowledgable about it in general, and would only want to push drugs on you, which will not sure it at all, because it originates in the colon.

3. My candida took 3 weeks to cure. I used Primal Defense (a probiotic) and a drastic diet change as outlined in the books I was reading. I wasn't perfect on the diet, but pretty close. I ate alot of onions and garlic (steamed, with olive oil), very little fruit, no white sugar, lots of vegetables, organic meat and produce, lots of water, and did a few colonics. Everybody's situation and body are a little different, but if you are serious about attacking this thing, you can get some results fairly quickly if you follow the recommendations.
