Anyone suffer from prickly heat?? I get it all the time when I am in the sun, on my chest, upper arms, tummy and now my back! I've been to the doctor and am told theres nothing you can do apart from keep cool and take anti-histamine. I take clarityn for it but it doesnt work. Anyone know of any cream or other tablets to take that may work as I love sunbathing but hate the constant itching, its soooo uncomfortable!

Ok. Yes, the indicated homeopathic remedy for prickly heat is LEDUM, however, this is more indicated for prickly heat on the ankles and feet. You could try it though, even if you have it on other parts of your body. If you are better for cold applications on this then LEDUM would be the best remedy.

Other than that APIS is the other remedy to try and this covers bites, stings and any type of allergic reaction that causes intense itching, redness, hives and irritation generally.

You can get homeopathic remedies from health food stores and they are different from herbal remedies. Do not confuse the two.
