hi i hope someone here can give me some info. i have serious gum and tooth pain. its been going on for about 6 months i have a cavity and i bought a temp filling and i filled it in myself . for the past month i have had serious pain in my mouth so much that i cant tell where its starting at. it wakes me from a deep sleep. and i ususally only have this pain at night if i lay down for even a few mins im in pain.and it keeps me up all night .i was going through so much tylenol and advil my stomache was hurting .drinking or eating anything cold or hot is enough to make me cry .im scared to death of going to a dentist . but i cant take the pain and sleepless nights any longer. some days the pain will go away for a few days and i put off going to the dentist but it always comes back. i didnt sleep at all last night just dozed for a few mins. usually as long as im in an upright position there is no pain. but how do you sleep sitting up ? LOL

As much as you hate dentistsyou really should go before the problem gets worse i know its not wht you want to hear but seriously i would go if i was you!
