I would like to ask you if you know what kind of bed is best for someone with arthritis? Does anyone know for sure if a very warm water-bed with a low amount of water helps arthritis pain? I've been sleeping on (two times a week when she works all night) my friend's "hot water-bed" as I call it, and it seems that my aches and pains in my hips and back are magically better on the days after I sleep on her bed. Now I'm considering buying my own "hot water-bed." Does anyone know what kind of bed is best for arthritis pain? Thank you for anything you might know about this. Sister.

I don't know about water beds. I've never had one. I did invest in a good pillow top mattress with firm box springs. I agree that heat is a wonderful thing on my lower back so I do use the Thermacare heat wraps at night sometimes. I Love those things and so does my back.
