Has anyone out there had this bump on the back of their heel and had surgury done on it? I am due to go in on the 2nd of Dec to get my right heel operated on and was wondering what I could expect. I don't feel that nervous about it since I have had these God awful bumps for what seems forever but, I am concerned about the recovery time since I am in the Army and will be leaving some inexperienced soldiers in the office to handle business. The Doc said that he won't be able to tell me how long I'll be out until he can go in and see if he will have to "invade" the achillies or not. I'm hoping that all goes smooth. Please let me know if you have experienced :wave: these bumps or have had them operated on. They are also known as pump bump. Thanks.
