I need to see a dr about this constant nasal drip and feeling of throat constriction. Which is best?? Allergist? Allergist/Immunologist? Or Ear/Nose/Throat? The book I have for Dr.s covered under my insurance has these 3 types listed separate. The throat thing is driving me crazy! I've had it since last August and have been tested for everything you can imagine (kinda scarey when they start looking for Lupus, MS, etc..) I have yet to see someone for allergies. I know I'm allergic to cats/dogs etc. What doctor will be the most thorough and do testing? Help please! Thanks!

I think that the Allergist/Immunologist would have the largest bank of knowledge and would probably be the most helpful to you.

I would go to an allergist also. I think all allergists are immunologists. (that is what allergies are...immunology issues). I would stay away from ENTs unless you have to go. They are surgery happy! And they stink alot of time at the allergy component on your issue.

Thanks for your replies. I'm going to go with the allergy/immunology listing of doctors. My insurance co-pay is kind of high so I didnt want to be shuffled around from place to place. Thanks again!
