Hi everyone!

Well, its all over. I have my new (temp) denture! Had the remaining upper teeth extracted and one lower extracted yesterday! Admitedly I look like some weird cross between Esther Ransen and Dick Emery, hehehe, but that's mainly because my gums are swollen. It will be a few months before I get my custom made permanent denture so I will just have to get used to this one for now. Talking is hard, and I get a lot of gagging (it will be adjusted again next week), but I do get to eat yummy stuff like Ice Cream for a while!! LOL

The worst is over! Still need some restoration work done on my front lower teeth but I can't believe how far I've come in just a few months! One day soon I will be out there in the public eye again grinning from ear to ear! I am so excited and can't wait to get my permanent denture now that I have a good idea how realistic false teeth can be!!
