Hi to all, but i have a question to ask people who have the same problem as me. It's been about 9 months that i'm experiencing pressure and whistling in my right ear. It's driving me crazy!! I went to the doctors ( orl ) and i was told that it was due to nasal congestion and to take sudafed till it helps. I've been on sudafed for 9 months now and i still have the problem. Some days better than others. This all started right after a really bad sinus infection. Now the doctor that i went to see gave me another option that is to try with the tube like they do on children with severe ear infections. Has anyone heard of this before or has tried the tube? Any responses would be greatly appreciated!

My dad experienced exactly what you were experiencing for about 2 years, he went to many doctors and they all said he had nasal congestion problems. He finaly went to another ear specialist and that is where he learned about Menear's disease. Unfortunately there is no cure for Menear's disease but the Dr. Suggested that he get sound machines which sooth his ears so he can get to sleep and for when he watches TV, he has them everywhere, even in his office at work, they do help and I highly suggest you pick one up.
