Hey, i hope i can help you with my experience.........

yesterday i had my oral surgery to remove my 2 wisdomteeth. 3 weeks ago i started having some TMJ symptoms and made right after this the appointment to remove those teeth, because i believed that it started with my impacted wisdom tooth on my lower right side.
So i did it and since then, its barely 24 hours later, but i feel fantastic.
Right after surgery i felt great too - i know it sounds weird.....(my eyes stopped feeling heavy and tired, no headaches, the ringing in my ears reduced so much, im not sure if its still there, no vertigo feeling anymore), i was just numb in my face for a while, but today it went away, thank god they didn't cut a nerve.
And of course i have some pain on the side where the impacted tooth has been, but not much.
I hope it will stay that way, i will see. But i have a very good feeling about that.
And my jaw feels very good too, no klicking or anything. I felt a little bit of klicking before.
I'll write later how i am doing.

And something else: it was the best dental experience i have ever had. I had a Sedation IV and feel so fast asleep i didnt even know it. Then i woke up and i had some cloths over my eyes so i couldnt see. But i heard them working on my tooth, the impacted one and I DIDNT CARE.
My only thought was : oh... they are still working on me. And i closed my eyes and fell back asleep!
I didnt feel anything, nothing. Then i woke up or the nurse woke me up, but it seemed like seconds after i woke up the first time.
It was great. I know one thing, i won't be scared of that anymore.
It was a very good experience.

glad to hear your feeling better:). i had my wisdoms out in late August and it didn't do anything for me. But i have to agree, the IV sedative was the best sleep i've had in months! i was angry when the nurse woke me up! my doctor was nice too. it was a rather pleasent experience.

take care and please let us know how your doing later.
