A few days ago at work while standing up during a meeting, I felt like I was going to pass out. So I sat down. Well, then everything went black around me, so I took some deep breaths because I was NOT going to pass out. Eventually, it went away. While this was going on, I broke out into a sweat, which lasted for about 5 minutes, maybe less. I ended up going home because I felt out of it. Since then, I have felt a little dizzy. Also, I've noticed weird things going on with my ears. It's sounds like I am talking in an echo or something. They dont pop. I've tried to pop them, and sometimes it feels like they want to, but can't. Is this related to the sinusitis that I have? I dont see the ENT until Aug. 18th, and am thinking of seeing my primary for the dizziness.
P.S. I took a HPT today, which I knew I wasn't, which it came out negative. You know how people get when people start suggesting things like that?

HPT? Sorry, first time I've run across that one..

I'm in no way even remotely close to being an expert, but with what you describe, it definitely sounds like an ear issue that may or may not be related to your sinusitis. Personally, since you are having the other ear symptoms, like echo, etc., I wouldn't think it would be anything major to worry about. Granted, it needs to be taken care of, but I don't think its anything of major concern. Have you had any more blackout episodes? I occasionally get lightheaded and faint if I move from a sitting to standing position really fast. It usually happens when I'm not feeling good. Just talk to your ENT about it and see what he/she says...
