I was wondering if anyone ever heard of otiomeatal units. I have alot of cheek preasure, pain behind my eyes, and pain in my temples and a recent cat scan read that i have a small cyst in left sphenoid sinus and that my ostiomeatal units were obstructive bilaterally. One doctor i went to had no idea what it meant and the other said it dosent mean anything and my sinuses are normal. it just dosent sound normal and when i looked it up on line it referred to sinusistis. I was also diagnosed as having myofacial dysfunction which is basically tmj so i really dont know where to turn anymore. if anyone knows what this means and whether or not its important to look into please let me know. thanks
